Banana bread is the first thing that I have ever baked, but I started out with a “ready to bake” package that can be bought in every supermarket. Later on, I discovered that I enjoyed baking and I started to search for recipes online that can be made from scratch. Most of the recipes online use butter and sugar and I was looking for a banana cake recipe without these two ingredients. Then I stumbled upon Cookies+kate‘s banana cake recipe. Since then, I make this banana bread almost on a weekly basis when I have bananas in the kitchen that are too ripe for my taste. The ingredients of this banana cake can be find easily at the local supermarket and you will most likely already have these ingredients in your pantry ;)!

Healthy banana bread recipe
An easy recipe to make healthy banana bread without sugar and butter!
Instructions
Put in the ingredients up until ground cinnamon in order in a large bowl when putting each ingredient, mix it thoroughly. I use chopsticks to mix it, since I find that handy. But you may use whisk (please note it’s harder to clean afterwards compared to chopsticks).
Put in the flour little by little and mix it in between. If you put it all at once, it tends to be harder to mix everything together.
Preheat the oven – 165 Celsius degrees.
When the mixture is smooth, you can add the toppings and mix it carefully.
Put it in a bread baking tray (I used 25 cm). You may also swirl some cinnamon on top.
When the oven has been preheated, bake it on 165 Celsius degrees and set a timer for 55 minutes.
Take it out of the oven, and let the banana cake cool down a bit before you cut it and enjoy it =D!
